College Football week 7 Tuesday

Yay for commercialism of college football, that means we get football on Tuesday night starting this week, and leaves only Wednesday without a game.  We won’t get any big teams playing on a Tuesday night, always the smaller schools looking for some national tv exposure for recruiting purposes.  Now if we can just figure out a way to funnel some of that money to the players, the world would be a better place.  Tonights game should be a good one, and offers a great opportunity for a win.

Arkansas State (-3.5) at South Alabama:
Not a fancy matchup by all means, but it’s Tuesday so beggar can’t be choosers.  With this one you have to take the road team and lay the points.  Naturally buy the half, even though I don’t think it’s going to matter any.  This comes down to being able to run the ball, something that Aransas State does extremely well and South Alabama’s defense has a hard time stopping.  Arkansas ST is averaging 193 rushing per game, and had 344 last week, while USA is allowing 205 per game.  South Alabama offense hasn’t necessarily been setting the world on fire, although they did play well last week on the road at Troy.  Seriously though, South Alabama is definitely in the bottom of the rankings, bottom 15 bottom, and they are only getting 3.5 at home?  No way this line should be this small, as the simulations show it being closer to a 12 point win for Arkansas State.

Good Luck
