College Football week 6 Bonus Pick

College Football week 6 Bonus Pick.  Well that didn’t take long.  This game wasn’t posted because of uncertainty when I went through the games earlier.  But I saw it when I was updating my lines and it’s a play.

South Carolina at LSU (-19.5):
This game was supposed to be in South Carolina, but due to weather they had to move it to LSU.  That sucks big time for South Carolina.  Lot of off field distractions for these Gamecocks this week, maybe a football game is just what they need to be able to escape.  But I can’t imagine a more hostile place to play than at LSU.  Those fans will pack in there and it will be intense.

If you throw out the 26 yards rushing UCF had against South Carolina they are allowing over 200 rushing yards per game.  That’s not a good thing when you have to face one of the best running offenses in college football, and they have quite possibly the best player in the country with Fournette.  South Carolina’s offense is another worry in this game as they are only averaging 350 yards of offense per game.  With the defense that LSU has, they won’t be able to improve on those numbers.  In fact, they’ll be lucky to hit those numbers.  The computer projects this as a 3 td game for LSU, which doesn’t give much value, but sometimes you only need a little value.  Three td’s sounds like a floor to me, not the ceiling.  LSU runs over South Carolina.
