College Football week 1 Monday Night Chaser

Well it's been a crazy week so far, and why night throw a Monday night chaser into the mix.  Like Sunday, this space is normally filled with a break down of Monday Night Football, but since that isn't until next week, college football takes the day.  I actually picked this match up in the weekend blog posted earlier, so everything below is a repost.  Haven't checked the line yet today, but since it's the only game in town I'm expecting more action to poor in on it.

Ohio State -14 at Virginia Tech:

This line is steaming on Ohio State.  It opened at OSU -11, which is a lot of points to be laying on the road, in Blacksburg.  First lets look at the suspensions that OSU will have, 5 key players, including possibly best DE in college.  While OSU does have one of the best RBs in the country, they are surely lacking in experience at the WR position.  Finally, this might be one of the best defenses in VT history.  Add an electric crowd to the mix and this VT team will be fired up.  Virginia Tech also has 16 returning starters, so you get a little bit of experience to add in on top of it all.  There is no conceivable way that OSU should be favored by more than 10 points.  Consider anything over 10 points value.
